Wealth from other Buildings

The same balancing act applies to wealth generation buildings other than towns, be they agriculture (green icon), city centre (yellow icon), maritime (blue icon) or industry (brown icon) based. Again, the decision involves not only what to build but how far to build it. Choosing which buildings to start with, and therefore which type of wealth to focus upon, should depend on matching wealth adders and wealth multipliers in the same province.

Most high level wealth buildings have a penalty either in food or public order, so how far to build depends on seeing if you can squeeze in another level in one of these buildings without critical province-wide fall in order or faction-wide fall in food. Alternatively, if one of food or order is critical and not the other, you can construct at the same time another building that will raise order at the expense of food (e.g. temple) or food at the expense of order (e.g. farm), to compensate for the loss incurred by upgrading the wealth building.
